Backstory: I called the Malabar Vet Clinic and made an appointment to put down my husband’s much loved, very old man cat, Sparrow. It was heartbreaking for our whole family, as Sparrow had become a constant fixture in our lives, but his quality of life had come to a point where it would have been selfish to let him continue on. The review: When I say that every single person in this clinic treated us and Sparrow with the kindest, most gentle manner I can imagine, I am not exaggerating. It started with the lady behind the desk giving us a Saturday appointment (when they don't normally do that for new customers), so my husband could be there with Sparrow on his day off. It progressed to them immediately giving us a room where we were able to be alone and love on him until the vet and her assistant were ready. When they did come in, they were incredibly sweet and gentle with him/us. What really pushed it to the point of me feeling I had to acknowledge their kindness was when I just went to the mailbox and saw they had sent us a card which everyone there had signed. 10/10 would recommend, and I am going to switch my vet for my other animals going forward.

My first time at this veterinary office with my dad's German shepard. As a pediatric nurse, I was really impressed with the compassion and the level of service, quality, and reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend this veterinary office for your four legged loved ones.

I've recently changed to Malabar Vet and am very pleased with everything and everyone. I appreciate the attention given to my fur baby as she is a new addition to my family. I've made appointments for the rest of my fur babies.

Dr Weiss and the whole staff are truly amazing folk. My cat Llorona needed to be seen asap. They got her in instantly. I highly recommend the Malabar Vet Clinic. The prices are very low and very affordable. The place is super nice and clean and has high capacity room space. Their services are many. Thank you so so much for helping Llorona pass peacefully.

I brought Twinkie and Smurf in after seeing numerous doctors. I’ve been fighting my dogs, pneumonia/kennel cough whatever it was and have spent a few thousand dollars. I went into Malabar country vet yesterday and my veterinarian was Dr. Swartz . He was very caring he took time with me. He explained everything. He let me ask all the stupid questions that I felt I needed to ask. He was very patient with me and I will make them my permanent veterinarian. I recommend Malabar country vet on Malabar Road to everyone they don’t just do dogs and cats they do all. Thank you Dr. Swartz if I could give you 10 stars I would, but they only allow five.

I take all my dog babies to see Dr. Weiss for annual check ups or anything else that pops up. She and her staff are absolutely amazing with my babies. Dr. Weiss provides a thorough exam from head to paw. When they give shots they are gentle and do what they can to comfort and distract my pups.

I started coming here out of convince. Is the price the best? Well, I don't know however I've been happy. The visit here are good, I've had no issues. The doctors are nice and open with me. Unlike emergency places or other pet doctors. They aren't over selling me or at least I feel that way. My pup needed a surgey. The estimated was hard for me to swallo in one go. I was so scared my pup would die because I don't work hard enough at work. I told them my budget and ask how they could help with payment if possible. The Mangement or owner helped me out! That's not common and very respectful to pet owners and unbelievably trusting of their customers. Thank you! While, yes the neg reveiws are correct. It can be difficult to get them on the phone. Having said that, ALL my calls have been called back. Sometimes outside of regular business hours. They help me get vax records by phone. My experience has been great, I will be returning. Remember, when you leave. Get you furry friends a nice treat at the feed store next door.

I really like this place. They treat my Great Dane like family and are very accommodating. Also, his meds were cheaper here than several other local vets. The staff upfront and the vets are very pleasant people. I always get good vibes from this place.

I just put my dog down and both Christina (tech) and Dr. Meyers were nothing short of extraordinary. The respect, compassion, and concern they put forth made it the best experience one could have in a situation such as this. I dont know what the price was but it doesn't matter. There is no amount of money that could buy the level of care that this staff team gives to each and every patient; they truly care. And thats due to management making the right hires. Thank you for making this experience as peaceful and dignified as it could possibly be.
